Wages start at $19.20/hr depending on shift and experience.
Shifts include days (5:45am-2pm), evenings (1:45pm-10pm), and nights (9:45pm-6am).
We are a 24hr awake facility which means that you must be awake and present on site the entirety of your 8.25hr shift.
Jamie’s Place offers a certification path for those interested in starting their caregiving career or looking for experience to continue their healthcare education. An online and in person hybrid HCA (Health care Aide) is class available to JP staff for free with one year contract. Additionally, we offer a HCA to CNA (certified nursing assistant) bridge program for licensed HCA’s looking to further their education and pay scale.

Administrative Manager
The Administration Manager position fills an essential administrative role at Jamie’s Place and offers an exciting opportunity to an individual who embraces the mission of the organization and is committed to sustaining its future. The Administrative Manager builds essential administrative capacity in support of operations and management, organizational leadership, strategic goals, and the future expansion of Jamie’s Place.
Responsibilities
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: No One
Responsible for:
Establishing and executing smooth and efficient administrative workflows and procedures; establishing and performing critical administrative tasks to improve and advance operations; managing the organization’s communication platforms and functions; providing administrative systems and support for the management team, the expansion campaign, and the board to achieve strategic goals.
Essential functions of the position:
administers office operations, policies and procedures
maintains calendars and coordinates meetings and schedules
manages the organization’s website and e-communications
manages and secures organizational records (electronic and physical)
supports and responds to the needs of the board and expansion campaign
assists in the planning and coordination of meetings and events
assures timely electronic and telephone responses to inquiries from external parties, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
performs other administration and coordination duties as assigned
Basic IT support
Operational maintenance coordination
Qualifications
The candidate’s professional experience and expertise will directly support the managers, volunteers, and board of Jamie’s Place while helping advance strategic goals. Responsibilities involve exposure to sensitive information and require considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Prior experience working at a nonprofit organization would be a plus. Ideal candidates for this position will meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor‘s degree and minimum 5 years of administrative and/or project management experience
computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Google suite, DocuSign, etc.
effective problem-solver; works well under pressure
exceptional and effective communication skills and the capacity to anticipate needs and proactively manage up.
proficient in navigating and managing Google space, including Gmail, online files & folders, passwords, calendar, etc.
experience with Squarespace website management; social media platforms; and content management delivery (e.g. Mailchimp)
experience building and managing functioning operational systems
demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and diplomacy.
